From The Big Witness To The Big Shamrock...

The 18 year veteran has packed his bags and is beginning his move to Boston. The Celtics have probably become one of the oldest teams in the league with the newest signing of Shaq. Although theoretically, they got older by numbers, this may give them a bit of an edge to get back to that Eastern Conference champion spot. I know all the talk is about Miami right now and what they will do, but Boston has been in the thick of the playoffs for the past 3 years. Many people don't think the "Big Witness" has nothing much to offer, but, the bottom line is that he is still in the league playing competitively. Not to mention, I still don't know of anyone in the NBA that can stick him. With Kendrick Perkins being out until almost February, they needed a couple of big bodies to fill in the space. With the signing of Jermaine O'Neal, the thought of Shaq coming to Bean-Town just didn't seem right. But, because the Celtics need the help rebounding and on the defensive end, this was probably a great pick up for them, simply because he's just going to take up so much space. So, yes this also means our segment on "Shaq Watch" is coming to an end, but there are still a couple of guys out there still looking for a job like A.I., T. Mac, Jerry Stackhouse, we can possibly start on one of them instead
