Isiah Thomas, A Part Of The New York Franchise...Again
Why oh why is this happening again? Did the first time not make any sense to the Knicks? The New York Knicks have made yet another bad decision that makes absolutely no sense. Isiah Thomas is back in with the Knicks but this time as a Consultant. If I can remember correctly, the last time Thomas was involved with the Knicks, the ending wasn't so pretty. It was a horrible team where Thomas found himself talking trash to the opposing teams where he got fined, and a sexual harassment suit thrown in there as well. So, what is it that he did for the franchise where they would ask him to come back. Let's not forget that Isiah is also the head coach for the Florida International Men's College basketball team, so does this move put him as a part time head coach, realistically this can't be good for the University. After only winning 7 games last year, you would think Thomas would have his focus 100% on his team, but taking on other responsibilities he felt was a good opportunity. This has bad idea written all over it, the man who almost single handily ran that franchise into the ground is now a Consultant to that very team, the New York Knicks. Apparently, Thomas has an idea of what he's doing, so maybe this will work for him, but in all honesty, it seems as if it will probably blow in the worst way possible.
