HAWKS WIN HAWKS WIN HAWKS WIN!!!
The Chicago Blackhawks are the new Stanley Cup Champions!! For the first time since 1961, Lord Stanley's Cup is back in it's rightful place with one of the original six teams. We've been through the ups and downs, the trials and tribulations, and it's finally time to be able to sit back and enjoy it. Game 6 was probably the best game I've seen this post season, not only because it was game 6, but both teams left it all out on the ice and in result of that the better team won. It wasn't an extremely high scoring game, not to mention, it went into overtime. What better way to win a championship game then taking it in OT, and in the other teams house. Yeah, we all would have loved to see them win at home, but, the fact that it's over and every single guy who had on a Hawks jersey in this post season run just makes it that much better. The 22 year old captain, Jonathan Toews was well deserved of winning the Conn Smythe Trophy, and has handled the role better than anyone I've seen, especially at his age. Patrick Kane, what is there to say about the man with the mullet, the "Kaner", absolutely the best game winning goal in an elimination game ever. The puck moved so fast, the only person who saw it was the person that shot it, and yes it was good. It is a spectacular story and a great end to a phenomenal season, congratulations to the Blackhawks and let's do it all over again in 2011
