Where Is Baseball In Chicago?

It's May and baseball season has been going on for some time now. The question is, where is baseball in Chicago? The White Sox and Cubs were huge disappointments last year, and this year it doesn't seem to be any better. The Cubs have a record of 15-22 right now and the Sox are no better with a record of 15-21. Now although these are two different teams, it is amazing how the problems they have seem to be so similar. The bats are no where to be found and the pitching is just average. The starting pitching is at least getting quality starts, it's more so the relief pitching that will come and give the game away. The problem only grows worse when you can't get any run support for the job the starter has done, so 9 times out of 10 that will result in a loss. We as fans all know that it is only May, so yes it's still early, but the road that these two teams are traveling down seems to be a little bumpy. Luckily with baseball there are so many games to be played, the time they have to turn things around is the only positive thing they have going for them. With the Cubs only 6 games back, and the Sox 7 games back, this early season fiasco can and I think will be turned around.
