A Couple Of Good Guys With A String Of Bad Luck

There is a couple of guys in the NFL who have a lot of talent, but just can't seem to stay healthy. Stafon Johnson about a year ago might have had one of the worst experiences that you can possibly think of in the weight room. With big weights falling on his neck, you can just imagine what it did to him, nearly killed the kid. His road to recovery wasn't easy I'm sure, especially because it was his last year at USC. Did he let that bring him down, NO! He kept moving forward landing him a spot on the Tennessee Titans roster, well almost. Johnson, because he was undrafted, had to fight for that spot in the rotation which he was willing to do. First game of the preseason Johnson ended up dislocating his ankle, and finding out later he broke his fibula and also had a high ankle sprain to go with it. So it's safe to say the kids season is over, but he says "why would I quit now", and he will continue to move forward in his career. Now over in Vikings camp you have a pretty talented guy by the name of Percy Harvin, who can't seem to get rid of these migraine headaches. Harvin who got these same migraines last year during the season didn't seem to let them slow him down. This past Thursday, Harvin was at practice when he was bothered by a migraine and ended up having to be hospitalized. Fortunately for Harvin, he was released and back at practice not to participate, but on the sideline watching. He is scheduled to see a specialist within the next week or so, now maybe Harvin and the Vikings can get some answers. Will this be classified like the concussion problem in the NFL? Maybe it should simply because it seems to be serious whatever it may be. It hasn't been said how long he will be out if any time at all, but he is another one who keeps his spirits up. Both of these young guys could have a bright future in front of them if health doesn't continue to be an issue. How long will they last in the league, only time will tell.
