Tennessee.....Pay The Man!

Chris Johnson is arguably the best running back in the NFL, next to Adrian Peterson. Last year the Titans did not have a very good season but, trying to keep his team afloat, Johnson rushed for 2,006 yards on 358 carries. He also averaged 5.6 yards a carrie, with 14 TD's and 125.4 yards a game. Pretty impressive if you ask me. The year before wasn't as spectacular as his last but he ran for over 1,000 yards and 9 touchdowns, and I believe he was splitting carries with one LenDale White. The major question you have to ask is, why won't Tennessee pay the man? There is absolutely nothing you can say that is going to make me think that the reasoning for not paying him right now makes sense. Will this stir up bad blood between player and franchise? When you have and outstanding season the way Chris Johnson did, the front office has to look at that right away and find a way to keep the number one back happy. He could have easily laid down and hung up his cleats for the rest of the season, but instead took matters into his own hands and inspiring his team to follow behind what he's doing by putting 110% effort into this losing season and figure out a way to turn it around. Pay the man! Hopefully, these talks between Johnson and the Titans will come to an end and a decision will be made by the time camp starts.
